Pastor Lance was born and raised in a small farming town in South Georgia. Upon graduating high school, Pastor Lance attended Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA.  While earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology, Pastor Lance played baseball. Searching for direction and still attempting to make baseball his god, Pastor Lance coached college baseball for three years, one of which was a head college coach.

Searching for direction still and knowing there was a calling on his life, Pastor Lance joined the U.S. Army after 9/11 serving for 9 years both Active duty and Reserves as a Biological Research Special and a Criminal Investigator for CID. God used this time in the Army to give Pastor Lance a burning desire for the lost and the church he had never had before.

Submitting to the call of the ministry on his life, Pastor Lance attended and graduated from Luther Rice University and Seminary with two masters degrees: Masters of Arts in Leadership and Master of Divinity Ministry.  He has been serving The Connection Church since early 2013. His Life’s verses are Romans 12:1-2:

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. “
